24/7 Protection with Smart Parking Mode

Smart protection for every situation. Weeks of protection with new Power Saving Mode. BlackVue offers the best Parking Mode protection whether you use your vehicle daily or leave it parked for long periods of time.

Motion: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever a motion is detected by the front or rear camera.

Timelapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1-minute video covers 30 minutes of real time.
In both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact (started 10 seconds before the action

Power Saving Mode

The ELITE 8 wakes up on impact then goes back to standby mode after 1 min recording (buffered recording not supported). Provides up to several weeks of protection (up to two months) when hardwired to a vehicle’s battery and up to over 12 months when powered by a BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A). 
Ideal when leaving your vehicle unattended for extended periods of time.

Built-in Connectivity with Seamless Pairing

GPS: Dual Band: GPS, GLONASS visualize the location of your vehicle on the map during video playback and overlay speed on videos (can be hidden in settings).

Wi-Fi: 2.4 – 5GHz Ultra-fast transmission lets you connect to your BlackVue Elite 8 with a smartphone or tablet. Wi-Fi also lets you connect to BlackVue Cloud via any home or mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router).

Note: All BlackVue dashcams include a BlackVue-branded 64, 256, 512GB or 1TB memory card. While the memory cards are removable and the card slots will accept other brands of memory cards, we strongly suggest the use of only BlackVue memory cards in the BlackVue dashcams, as the use of a non-BlackVue memory card may cause performance issues and may void your manufacturer’s warranty.

BlackVue OEM memory cards are industrial-grade VNAND-type microSD cards and are designed and tested to withstand the extreme temperatures, vibrations and the constant read/write cycles of high quality dashcams. Typical consumer-grade memory cards such as those from SanDisk are simply not up to the task. Stick with the OEM BlackVue memory cards to ensure your dashcams are always recording when it matters most
