The high-resolution display allows full operation of the system via the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and features the latest video technology for outstanding picture clarity, contrast and resolution. Greater smartphone connectivity is available through the convenience of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can make calls, send and receive text messages and listen to your music — without ever touching your phone.

Smartphone Navigation 

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto works seamlessly with the included GPS and on-glass antenna to provide an accurate navigation experience. With voice control you can set your destination or use the display to type in a location and begin driving. Plus, voice guidance gives you turn-by-turn instructions to keep you on your designated route.

Smart Phone Audio 

Listen to your favourite music apps such as Spotify or Tidal or enjoy a limitless number of options such as iHeart Radio, Podcasts and even DAB+ digital radio providing a wide range of digital only radio stations.

The iLX-507E46 is equipped with powerful and advanced sound processing features such as Bass Engine SQ and Media Xpander HD for precise tuning, maximising bass response or adding richness to compressed media.

HDMI and USB Connectivity 

A wide range of entertainment options are made possible through the iLX-507E46 with HDMI and USB connection allowing for high quality video and audio playback. Dual USB connection provides a multitude of source options, such as memory sticks, iPod or iPhone, and other devices to playback audio and video files. Furthermore, MP4 and AVI files are played up to HD 1080p with superb clarity. Drive-Assist Cameras

A rear-view camera is a great way to make reversing safer. The camera image automatically comes on when you shift into reverse and distance guides that can be adjusted to match your car size will appear on the screen to help you safely park your car. Alpine offers a wide variety of front and rear facing cameras, including multi-view cameras with selectable viewing angles.

Optional KWE-E46EXT

The KWE-E46EXT is an optional harness for the BMW E46. This is required for vehicles that have the original radio black-box installed in the boot. This cable provides all the necessary connections for perfect integration
